Throughout its history, the San Francisco Chinese Chamber of Commerce has stood as a pillar of progress in business, culture, and community.
 
Since the first Chinese immigrants arrived from the villages in the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong during the 1850’s, the Chinese Chamber has played a critical role in strengthening the civil rights of all people and in keeping Chinese traditions alive in San Francisco.
 
Today, as we look ahead, I see a bright horizon. 
 
New Chinese-American businesses are innovating like never before, our cultural events are thriving and re-imagining themselves, and Chinatown is growing once again.
